FireFox has sure come a long way since they originally started out. Gaining more and more users, they have finally released their first release candidate for FireFox 2.0!

What first attracted me to FireFox was the multi-tab browsing which made everything so much more easier to keep organized for browsing. However, whenever I used FireFox to edit a file using the cPanel File Manager, it could never search inside the text box. It was pretty annoying, so I used Internet Explorer whenever I needed to use cPanel. But they finally fixed that and this is a huge relief to all the bloggers out there!

Another great feature to FireFox 2.0 is their inline spellchecker, which is just like the Microsoft Word Spellchecker. It places red dots underneath any misspelled words to alert you that it might be spelled wrong! It isn’t really annoying like Microsoft Word, but it does catch your attention.

Furthermore, they have these great themes already released for FireFox 2.0. I personally like this theme and am currently using it.

Despite these great features, I still wish FireFox would finally release an official Alexa Toolbar. The current ones don’t seem to send information to be recorded by Alexa (and bringing up your Alexa Ranking). The only reason I am still using Internet Explorer is because of the Alexa Toolbar being compatible only with Internet Explorer.

Maybe in the future they might consider providing an official Alexa Toolbar and then I won’t ever have to use Internet Explorer again!
