Well this was an idiotic move by Yahoo! Advertising. I noticed over on GameScript that a ton of arcade webmasters were complaining about Yahoo! advertising rates getting lower and lower and most people are quitting. Not only have the forums been talking about this, but Yahoo! itself announced that their rates have been dropping.
Marketing Pilgrim said that they lost another 13% because of their announcement. What a dumb move made on Yahoo!’s behalf!
Anyway, the lower the rates become, the closer they will be to a reasonable rate, like Google AdSense. This means they might open up their doors for others soon and leave their BETA phase!
