Yahoo! Messenger is the second leading messaging program worldwide, but no other commonly used instant messaging software has a real-time translator.
Yahoo! now provides a plugin which is intended mostly for UK, but is available to everyone, the I-Translate Plugin. It will translate incoming AND outgoing IM’s into over 38 languages. A few common ones are English, French and German.
