Search Engines

GoogleWell we need to introduce the new category of our website, Search Engines. It is important to keep up with the information on these Search Engines since most websites need them to deliver traffic.

YahooSo far, Google is the most common and leading Search Engine. Yahoo! was the #1 Search Engine a few years back, but was surpassed by Google. Yahoo! was used by numerous people in various fields, like, Domain Names, Web Hosting, Music, Travel, Games and more. The fact that Yahoo! had so many various fields deprived Yahoo! of being considered as a “Search Engine”.

MSNMSN was a Search Engine which was created by the Microsoft Company, but is not that common. MSN does not have such a great algorithm and index almost every website with just one or two links. MSN has all the features that Yahoo! has, but they don’t have Domain Name registration and Web Hosting. Instead, they have dial-up internet access, which not many people use, but was 10-15 years ago. The fact that it is owned by Microsoft made it a common Search Engine. People who use Hotmail or other Microsoft service usually use this Search Engine, since it is integrated into their services.

Well they all have different algorithms so they have different methods on ranking websites.

Try to get backlinks from top websites in Yahoo! instead of MSN and Google.
