YouTube has finally partnered up with a leading entertainment provider and since they are targetting kids, shouldn’t they partner up with one of the leading kid-related entertainment providers out there? Well they chose Warner Bros. as their new partner!
They technically partnered with Warner Music Group. YouTube will have access to a vast library of music videos, behind the clip scenes and more. In exchange, Warner Music Group will receive a share of their royalties according to the contract.
A few people, however, tend to disagree with this. They believe that this partnership will force YouTube to become more of a commercial website and will lose a few loyal visitors. Commercializing YouTube is insulting to some of the users who helped build it up with videos and comments.
