I was doing a search on Google for Game Arcade Script and noticed a new Google Layout taking place. At first I thought it was permanent change, but I still took a screenshot. It looks like Google took down the testing, but I believe that it might be on a different datacenter or such.

Anyway here is a screenshot of the new Google layout (click on thumbnail to see bigger version):

From the screenshot, it looks like Google has an extra sidebar on the left as well as the regular sponsored AdWords listings on the right sidebar. This left sidebar is displaying search queries related to your search query as well as a link to:

• Images
• Maps
• News
• Groups

These links will search for the query supplied for you. In this case, I searched for Game Arcade Script, so if I hit that images link it’ll take me to the images page with a query search for Game Arcade Script.

Furthermore they changed the Search Box to a green color and the Sponsored Links at the top is a Yellow Color. In addition, Google is displaying related search queries on the bottom left corner of the left sidebar. This is not seen in the screenshot, but I remember it!

I wonder if Google will release this layout if others like it? I personally don’t mind the changes.
