Google Desktop 4 - Out of BETA

Google DesktopGoogle Desktop is pretty cool software provided by Google which offers a lot of potential and makes your desktop extremely interactive and cool. Up until now, Google Desktop was in it’s BETA mode! But since it has been officially released, we decided to do a small review of all the features it offers!

When installing it, you will need to close all your programs, even this blog post!A simple overview of the Google features on the sidebar:

  • gMail E-Mails get indexed and displayed
  • News Tab
  • Scratch Pad (Like Google Notebook)
  • Photos (Slideshow of pictures in “My Photos” Folder
  • Web Clips (Feeds of your Favorite Sites!)
  • Weather Tab
  • To Do List
  • Google Search of course!

It is a pretty nice addition to your desktop and the tabs for all the features listed can be moved onto your desktop!
