Well this just proves that even multi-billion dollar companies like Google even makes mistakes. This mistake was noticed by one of the visitors, who in turn took advantage of the situation! A few pictures are included as well!
What happened early yesterday morning, March 28th, 2006, on Google’s Blog on BlogSpot has become pretty widespread news. One of the Google employees ACCIDENTALLY had deleted the famous Official Google Blog. A faithful and common visitor to the Google Blog decided to take advantage of the situation, like any other good smaritan and register it for themself! The name of the visitor was Trey Philips. Google quickly acted upon this and fixed it. You can read their own small post on And We’re Back to see their small explanation on what happened.
Trey Philips didn’t do anything to their blog, except add a new blog and ask Google to fix their site, which they obviously did! Here is an image of when Trey registered Google’s blog:
We don’t have any inside news on what happened to Google nowadays, it could have been done by somebody INSIDE Google as a prank and Google could have simply covered it up. Otherwise Blogger (or BlogSpot) is starting to malfunction and could one day delete ALL of our BlogSpot Blogs!
