I’m not a great Google Blogger fan, considering how it’s mainly being used for spam. Recently, according to a couple of AIM Chats, Blogger has been receiving a ton of outages. Instead of hiding the truth or ignoring it, they decided to do something to publish the truth, but make the opinion on Blogger a bit softer blow.
They decided to publish a novel in the eyes of a Blogger server engineer and his adventure in the middle of the night to bring up the Blogger server when it went down.
They made a solemn apology in the post and seemed to state they plan to make amends on improving their servers. But the significance of this novel is the fact that they stated that they released a BETA version of a new Blogger.
They also converted their Status Blog to Blogger which stays updated on the status of the Blogger services and outages (if any).
