Well John Scott has just admitted that he may have done a “little Google Bombing” to get the V7N.com homepage to come in Position 29 in Google’s SERP’s for the keywords “V7ndotcom Elursrebmem”.

But in a recent post on his forum, he has said that if it comes in any of the top listings, he will disregard his website and the prize will be given to the next contestant. Here is a quote taken directly from his forum:

I just discovered the v7n home page in #29 for the contest keywords. When I checked the cache: 191ba2b3d384399e3f1118d0258bb83f That’s, um, odd. By the way, I’ll make sure v7n isn’t in the top for the keywords, so please don’t accuse me of trying to hijack the contest so I can keep the money. And, yes, I did a tiny, tiny, bit of linking to v7n with the keywords in the anchor text, and the home page of v7n has “v7ndotcom elursrebmem” on it now, in the form of a link to a non-competing page. The linking I did to v7n is just a test. I’ll talk more about it later.
