Google has not been paying much attention to websites in other languages other than English. Recently, they found out that a French website, automobile.de, which was a keyword filled doorway page. In addition, they did JavaScript redirects to fool Google and get a better page rank.
A few other websites are listed below, which did the same thing as well: automobile-versicherung.de/ automobile-finanzierung.de/ automobile-leasing.de/ neuwagen-jahreswagen.de/
This is making Google pay more attention to foreign language websites! So beware if you have a foreign webpage, Google was going easy on you until now!
