Google Search Engine

This post will talk about the Google Search Engine and why it is so important.

Google First of all, you know that Google is the leading web search engine right now. Google has a set of algorithms which decide which web pages contain good content and are more important. When you search on Google, they gather all the keywords you typed in (in our case, our main keywords are redscowl bluesingsky) and find web pages that contain those keywords and display them according to “Google’s Rank” also known as Page Rank

Page Rank Page rank is what Google ranks websites on. Every single web page in Google’s directory has a page rank and when people get results from Google, websites are displayed in order of high their Page Rank is. The Page Rank scale is on a 0 to 10 basis (0 is the lowest and 10 being the highest).

You can improve your page rank with some key factors:

  1. Have quality content, which is unique.
  2. Interlink main pages in your website (Have a non-flash navigation bar, which Google will follow)
  3. Include Meta Tags on every page, since some Search Engines use the Description and Title tags to list your website.
  4. Have a Sitemap, which is linked to on every page.
  5. Have numerous links pointing to your website as long as you have similar content.

You can view your Page Rank using the Google Toolbar, which can be found at Google’s Toolbar section. The Google Toolbar is very useful and has a small search option, autolink and even more features!
