Co-Op Advertising Networks Article

Well it seems that there are many co-op advertising websites out there which claim that they will send a lot of traffic to your website and such. Now some of them may be beneficial and useful and there are numerous positive effects about them. However, there are also bad effects as well.

What is Co-Op Advertising?

Now many of you may not know what co-op advertising is. We will explain it to you in simple terms. First, a website which can be referred to as the “middle man” will offer their co-op advertising services for free.

After joining, you will get a small code, most of the time in PHP, which you must display on your website. This code will request a list of websites from the “middle-man” server and display it on your website.

When ads are displayed on your website, you will recieve credits, which are in turn used to display your website’s ads on other people’s websites who are participating on the same “middle-man” website.

Positive Effects

There are positive effects of joining co-op advertising networks. First of all, it will bring in a small number of traffic to your website. However, the real prize lies in the fact that you will recieve backlinks from that site and if a Search Engine indexes your web page at that time, free links!

This is a pretty risky method and can change anytime. However, it is a pretty effective way to get a good page rank and ranking!

Negative Effects

There are a few negative effects about joining co-op advertising networks. Most of them will require credits and to obtain credits, you will need to place their code which will display links to other websites. Otherwise, to obtain credits you will need to buy them by paying.

Good Co-Op Advertising Networks

So far we have joined two co-op advertising networks and they do seem similar. We will discuss both of these co-op advertsing networks in this article. First of all, you should look that when you recieve a PHP Code, you should see if links to other participants websites are appearing in the HTML Code of the website. If they do not, you can be pretty sure that your websites will not either and Google won’t index backlinks. So don’t use that websites services.

Now we just started using co-op advertising networks, but so far we found two of them which are pretty nice. You can click on the links so you can sign up for their services as well!

DigitalPoint Co-Op Advertising Network

First of all, we are using DigitalPoint’s Free Co-Op Advertising Network, which is displayed on our sidebar. They have a lot of webmasters participating in their Advertising Network, which is a great advantage. In addition, you can choose if you want your ads to be an image or text and you can choose which ones will be displayed on your website. You cannot pay for your credits, which levels the playing field for all webmasters. You can gain credits by referring people (Click Here to sign up using the Redscowl Bluesingsky.us Referral Link) and you can recieve 10% of all the credits which your referrals bring in. These credits are not taken from the person you referred! Here is an example of DigitalPoint Co-Op Advertising Network Ads:

SEO Ad Network

Now SEO AdNetwork does not have an amazing database, but it is sufficient and acceptable. They do have some similar qualities to DigitalPoint’s Co-Op Advertising Network, but they don’t show you your credits or let you refer people using a link, they send E-Mails instead. However, your ads will pop-up on a few sites here and there and you might get a decent amount of backlinks to your site. They display 5 text links and we have placed them on the sidebar as well. We will most likely move it to the footer soon. You can view the SEO Ad Network Ads on our Sidebar near the bottom, but we might put it on the bottom soon!

[…] We would have never figured out which linking scheme he was in, but then one of the websites showed the header “DigitalPoint” and that’s when it hit us! He was using the DigitalPoint Co-Op Advertising System (Read Co-Op Advertising Network Article) and that’s how he recieved so many links! Guess we are on the right track so far! […]

    Nice review.

There is another popular co-op worth a look. Check out
    Link Vault

Have used both DP co-op and Link Vault. For some reason Link Vault gave me backlinks and DP didn’t.

Let me know what you think.
