I’ve been enjoying some great StumbleUpon traffic for the last few days to most of my sites. When I checked my referral logs, I noticed that the referrals were coming from StumbleUpon Referral Page. It was meant to be a source for webmasters receiving traffic from StumbleUpon to get even more traffic via paid traffic.
I’ve been using their paid campaign service for a while and I have to say I truly enjoy it. They offer a great amount of flexibility and detailed targetting. They have such a wide network of people with the StumbleUpon toolbar installed that you can target any city in the United States, even the minor cities/towns.
For those who don’t know how StumbleUpon works, it basically consists of you installing the StumbleUpon toolbar and telling them if you like or dislike a website. You can also review websites if you want. Furthermore, they save the type of websites you prefer and every time you hit the ‘Stumble’ button, it takes you to another website matching your preferences for you to view.
They also have various forums which cover a variety of topics. You can even create your own forums. It’s a great way to get in touch with people interested in same websites as yours (or you can use them for blatant self-advertising).

It’s nice to see the volume of traffic from Stumble Upon. I’m learning that a page can get a fair amount of traffic after the initial surge. An older post got a few stumbles and my referrals increased exponentially.
