Just recently I started sellings advertisements through TextLinkAds on the sidebar for around $20/month here. Haven’t received any customers through it, but I noticed that they are offering $100 in free ads when you order $125+ and thought this was a great deal, so I ordered a ton of 30-day listings for Sixty6 Arcade (sending a ton of traffic as well!).

Anyway, TextLinkAds sent an E-Mail out to their publishers/advertisers saying:

We have just added some exciting new banners and text links to our affiliate program that allow you to direct traffic directly to our “$100 Free Text Link Ads” promotion that has been converting very well.

There is a bit more to the E-Mail, but the main fact is that you will earn $25 for every person you refer! The new high-performancing banners are basically promoting the $100 free offer, so I decided to take the 120×60 button and place it under the sponsored links!

Another small note is the fact that if you want, you could tell a friend to signup using your link and when you recieve the $25 you could send them the $25 for signing up, basically making him pay nothing at all (as an act of courtesy..)!
