Welcome back to this second part of our study on PPC Advertising. Now, as I’m sure you know, any advertising should NOT cost you money. By this I mean you should be getting an ROI (Return On Investment) that exceeds the amount you spend. But you’ve first got to get people to click your ads. So how do we do this?
The number one rule is that we have to get the wording of our advertising correct. This is to do with not only the wording that you have in the body part, but also the wording in the title as well as the URL. Even just one or two tiny changes can make a HUGE difference. And when I say HUGEm I’m talking up to 30% or more!
Now, most people refine their advertisements by simply guessing what parts of their advertisements aren’t working, changing them, and THEN seeing how the conversion rates change. Now, that is definitely not a very efficient method, and what I’m about to show you will completely eliminate the guessing part for the good. Ready?
Ok, here goes. What you do is you split your Test Advertisements from your Actual Advertisements. This means you run two different advertisements concurrently. One of these advertisements will perform better than the other, obviously. And when you have established which one converts customers to your website the best, you then change or modify the other one to help make it better. Afterwards, you help makeadvertisment giving less conversions better, by using the information from the better advertisement. Then you just keep repeating! Basically, you have two different advertisements which will help make the other one better!
By doing this you can ensure that you have better conversion rates than most of your competition. So get cracking, and I’ll see you tomorrow, where I’m going to be discussing about how to make you PPC advertisements stand out.
