There have been many of those “paid to surf” advertising services out there, which most people consider to be extremely low-paying nowadays. Well I recently came across a new service which is still in it’s BETA stage and has not been launched yet - Agloco Malaysia.
It seems to have a decent idea which just might work. What they are planning to do, from my understanding, is to have their users download a ViewBar, which displays advertisements at the bottom of your browser (In the example it’s Internet Explorer, not sure if FireFox is supported). Then, while the user is browsing the web, this toolbar will start displaying advertisements. Take a look at the ViewBar Screenshot:
I think it’s a good idea, since most people will be seeing the advertisements, especially if they are browsing the net!
