Just woke up and checked SlickDeals and noticed one of the hottest new deals - Free GoDaddy Domain Registration! All you need to do is click here and enter your email address and your name (you can always mark the messages as spam later on). You will also need to make sure you marked the checkbox!
Afterwards it will take you to a confirmation page that will contain a promo code in red colors, go to GoDaddy and pick out a free domain name and apply the promo code at checkout. You can also choose payment by ‘Gift Card’ so you don’t need to give them your PayPal or Credit Card information!

I’ve worked with a couple of API websites in the past and I’ve always been interested on the concept of running websites which are supplied with continuous amounts of free content. Furthermore, people are now creating scripts that are meant to utilize these APIs.
Anyway, I found this great website with a list of numerous APIs on the web. If any programmer wants to take up this opportunity, go nuts! My prize API-based website is Vol3D, which pulls videos from Revver itself and uses my affiliate ID to display them for money!
I thought it was amusing that during the Super Bowl XLI today, they aired a mention for GoDaddy with the slogan “GoDaddy: Make a .com with us”. There was also a commercial for GoDaddy which can be seen here.
Now this got me thinking, are companies starting to get so big that they don’t care how big their audience is? I mean people who watched the Super Bowl XLI today (and sadly saw the Bears lose to the Colts) has a huge diversity in age, profession and interest. Obviously there are a good amount of people who work with websites on the net, but that is only a small percentage compared to the entire audience that advertisement was shown to.
When companies get bigger, are they going to advertise their service in as many spots they can find and reap in as many customers as possible?

Please note this security issue has already been fixed by Google.
I thought this was odd that Google had a security hole due to the amount of cookie’s their users store on the computers. It seems that if someone wanted, they could trick gMail users into visiting a page on Google (I’m guessing a page on GooglePages) and grab all those cookies.
Got back to blogging (sorry guys, been busy with content writing) and the first post which came into my little blogosphere and caught my attention was Oilman making a post that SEO Rockstars Blog was hacked! Such a shame considering that they actually got people to write tons of good content for them! Continue Reading »

Google Blogoscoped shows that using JavaScript you can show the latest visited. This is a problem with browsers which use JavaScript to which checks out the link style attributes and a code can figure out which URL’s you visited last!
Check out this example which displays a couple of the latest pages you visited (in FireFox and Internet Explorer).
A small note to let people know that Alexa has updated it’s rankings a while ago! Modern SEO News has 236,111 Ranking at the moment, hopefully it’ll pass the 100,000 ranking during the next update!
The layout for the new blog design is up (using AdSense Integrated WordPress Design) but we plan to make the CSS (Design) modifications sometime this week.

Well earlier this month, Google found out that their gMail Service, gMail, had a security flaw which could have let a hacker gather the E-Mail Addresses in another gMail Account and might even let them hack and access the account! They acted quickly on fixing the problem in around 3 hours as soon as a 14 year old, Anthony, had posted the flaw in his blog. This is another flaw by Google which was uncovered by another teenager in less than a week. Not counting the Google BlogSpot Mistake. Continue Reading »
