A ton of forums have started sharing revenue with their users via Google AdSense, started by DigitalPoint Webmaster Forums. Well now YouTube is headed down the same path by offering to share revenue with the people who upload the content which makes YouTube famous!
I thought this was amusing when I read about it. Everyone knows of the action packed show - Twenty-Four (better known as 24) on FOX. Well last week or so was their premeire for their 6th Season (and it was a great one!), but someone uploaded the first four season premiere episodes of 24 on YouTube before the show was aired on TV!

A lot of people would have been amazed at how much Google paid YouTube (nearly $1.6 billion) and have come up with crazy and wild speculations on how this happened. But I personally think this YouTube Video explains it much better than any other wild story:

Well Google had a Google Dance at the SES (Search Engine Strategies) Conference in San Jose. We heard tons of good feedback on the thousands of seminars offered at the conference, but even more talk about the Google Dance (even a video on it)!
