Google Video Advertisement Caught on Flash

Sunday 14 January 2007 @ 10:54 pm

I recently came across a Google Video advertisement on a website while I was checking out the pagerank of one of my domain names (CPHosts.com) and I decided to use Wink Software to capture the advertisement on flash:

Watch Google Video Advertisement - Please note it takes around 45 seconds to load

It shows the interface to the video basically (this video was for pontiac). Video advertisements are only appearing on select publishers at the moment. From what I hear, it seems that Google plans on releasing Google Video advertisements as CPM-based (meaning someone watched the video or hit play). It’s just a rumor, but I think it would make more sense and it pays the publisher for having visitors who actually viewed the video.

So what can we do about this? Continue Reading »
