I have a ton of websites lying around here and there and SEO is something that would take a few weeks to come into effect (in my opinion - I’m sure others can probably do it quicker than I can).
Anyways, I did some decent SEO on a website and it ended up getting a TON of search engine traffic. This website is purely an affiliate website and uses an affiliate program through CJ.com and I’ve showed the stats for this month to the left.
I plan on writing a full report on how this website ended up taking off and EXACTLY what I did to get an extra $100 this month.
But in the meantime, I’m holding a small contest for the WickedFire Members by giving away a small amount of money ($15 via PayPal) to the first person that can guess which affiliate I used. If you aren’t a member, just spend a few minutes signing up. If you are a member, head on over to their thread and start guessing!

As soon as people get banned from AdSense, it seems that they run to Clicksor, hoping that they get more leniency for the same price. Last year this would have been crazy talk to most webmasters, but now that Google has released more and more restrictions on the type of content you’re allowed to serve with AdSense, I’m starting to believe that Clicksor just might be a formidable alternative to AdSense.

Clicksor is a formidable alternative to AdSense?
I really thought this was an odd combination, since I would have never expected eBay to be even remotely interested in anything in the social bookmarking area. Nevertheless, it has happened yesterday and we can only see what eBay has in store for StumbleUpon.
According to the senior directory of eBay, Michael Buhr, they will keep the same management, but will incorporate some of their own staff (him for example) to work with the StumbleUpon team and enhance their experience, as well as incorporate them with eBay. Michael Buhr also commented:
StumbleUpon is a great fit within our goal of pioneering new communities based on commerce and sustained by trust. StumbleUpon’s downloadable toolbar provides an engaging and unique experience to its users, but it is the similarities in our approaches to the concept of community that make it such a compelling addition to eBay.
I’m guessing the obvious that eBay would probably use StumbleUpon to help users share auctions that they find interesting or unique.

Basically Revver is a video community, similar to YouTube, but they also display advertisements at the end of all their videos. The best part, is that they are also offering an affiliate program that pays you by PayPal to promote their videos by choosing a video to put on your site.
With the fact that they are offering an API, this would only make the deal better! I decided to take advantage of their API and create a whole website that displays nothing but their videos and my affiliate code: Vol3D. Just goes to show you how far you can get with a small amount of ingenuity!
This script will pull video codes from the Revver website and display them on your website with your affiliate code embedded into the code. You can choose which tags you would prefer to be displayed on your website as well! I am currently selling this script for $35 and if you are interested, feel free to contact me here.
A couple months ago, Shoemoney posted up an E-Mail he received from an anonymous source. Apparently, ValueClick Media is running “free” incentivized offers and have a small disclaimer at the bottom:
To receive the incentive gift you must: 1) register with valid information; 2) complete the user survey; 3) complete at least 2 Silver, 2 Gold and 6 Platinum offers. Purchase may be required.

I was working on a computer and sitting next to me where a couple of kids entering the serial numbers on the bills on TrackTheBill.com - A way for users to track where their money originated and ended up. The interesting part is that the kids where writing the URL to the website on the dollar bill itself.
It has been a long debated topic between social media marketing experts, who claim that digg users rarely enjoy websites with advertisements blatantly placed on the website. Therefore, the assumption was made that they do not click advertisements.
Well Chitika has run an analysis to actually prove this theory and provide a very nice explanation of their experiment. It seems that traffic from Search Engines like Google have 3 times as high as a CTR as Digg.
My personal guess on this would be that Digg Users come to a website to look at the content, while Google Users really have no idea where the content is located, and could easily mistake an advertisement for hyperlink (like Chitika ads).
Many people have started upgrading to the latest operating system from Microsoft - Windows Vista. For those that have a wide 15″ screen, you wouldn’t mind displaying their gadget sidebar on the side. Considering how many new computers have Windows Vista installed and the gadget sidebar enabled by default, you can expect a lot of people to want to personalize their sidebar.
Now if you have a gadget sidebar, it’s obvious you’d want to fill it up with the latest and coolest gadgets and widgets. Now if you look at this from a marketing perspective, you could generate a ton of traffic to your website if you supplied a gadget providing a tool or information from your website.

I’ve been enjoying some great StumbleUpon traffic for the last few days to most of my sites. When I checked my referral logs, I noticed that the referrals were coming from StumbleUpon Referral Page. It was meant to be a source for webmasters receiving traffic from StumbleUpon to get even more traffic via paid traffic.
