Modern SEO News has just been upgraded to the latest version of WordPress Ella 2.1 - released last week on their download page. The upgrade was extremely simple and easy to do as usual.
You simply:
- Upload the new files.
- Login to your admin control panel.
- Click on two links
…and that’s it
The new WordPress release was already present in WordPress MU, which I’ve been using on 66 Blogs for a while. It has a few new features, but my favorite is when it auto-saves a post that you’re typing up. Whenever my internet connection disconnects and I publish a post, I wind up losing the entire post.
I also noticed that they changed the category ID’s for the links. On my center sidebar, I have three categories for links – BlogRoll, Favorite Forums and Podcasts. After the upgrade, these categories changed Category ID’s and I had to go change it in the WordPress design.
