DisclosurePolicy.org - Plea for Attention?

Monday 30 October 2006 @ 10:21 pm

PayPerPost has been growing tremendously over the month, but the buzz about it has been long gone. Or is it? I received an E-Mail from PayPerPost announcing a new service they released, Disclosure Policy Generator. I don’t think this website is that useful or important for bloggers, and personally think it was meant to get people talking about PayPerPost again. Continue Reading »

Seems that Google is testing a new layout for Google Base. This was caught by Garett Rogers, who thinks it’s a replacement for Froogle!

MSN AdCenter $50 Coupons

Sunday 29 October 2006 @ 10:20 pm

Barry Schwartz seemed to be the only one who noticed that so many different PayPerClick services are now offering coupons because of the eComXpo Conference. Well it seems that Google AdWords isn’t the only one distributing coupons, MSN AdCenter is also distributing a coupon code of $50.

Google Blogger Server Outages = New Blogger BETA

Sunday 29 October 2006 @ 8:35 pm

I’m not a great Google Blogger fan, considering how it’s mainly being used for spam. Recently, according to a couple of AIM Chats, Blogger has been receiving a ton of outages. Instead of hiding the truth or ignoring it, they decided to do something to publish the truth, but make the opinion on Blogger a bit softer blow.

FireFox 2.0 Not Affiliated with Google AdWords

Sunday 29 October 2006 @ 8:45 am

Google has offered $1 for every FireFox download a Google AdSense Publisher sent them. This has been a long tradition and useful for generating revenue for publishers as well as new FireFox users.

Got Paid by PayPerPost

Sunday 29 October 2006 @ 8:40 am

Well I took a couple of computer-related offers from PayPerPost last month or so. I made sure to make only one post for PayPerPost every 10 posts so the posts don’t look too spammy. But I made sure that it was a post that was related to Computers & Internet and fit somewhere within the categories on Modern SEO News. I finally got paid a few days back!

Get $50 Microsoft AdCenter Coupons from ShoeMoney

Thursday 26 October 2006 @ 9:40 pm

ShoeMoney has offered $5,000 in Microsoft AdCenter Coupons on his blog. Apparently a Microsoft AdCenter representative sent him an E-Mail with 100 coupons for Microsoft AdCenter for $50 each.

He’ll simply make a post on his blog tomorrow morning (most likely between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.) and whoever redeems the codes will get it!

The other 50 coupon codes will be said live on Net Income, ShoeMoney’s radio show on WebmasterRadio.fm!

The Yahoo! Search Marketing Blog

Thursday 26 October 2006 @ 9:10 pm

Yahoo! launched their very own Yahoo! Search Marketing Blog. There doesn’t seem to be much activity at the moment, but considering their other recently released blog, Yahoo! Search Blog, I don’t think this would be a lot different. It would simply have a different layout, but most likely cover the same topic. However, I don’t think the Yahoo! Search Blog contained much of anything that was interesting. Hopefully the new one will be better!

The Indian on Google

Thursday 26 October 2006 @ 8:51 pm

Came across a blog post which pointed me to this odd Google Maps Location which looks exactly like a native Indian’s face! It is on a mountain range in Canada which is just north of Montana! We took a screenshot of it as well!

How Google Bought YouTube

Thursday 26 October 2006 @ 8:29 pm

A lot of people would have been amazed at how much Google paid YouTube (nearly $1.6 billion) and have come up with crazy and wild speculations on how this happened. But I personally think this YouTube Video explains it much better than any other wild story:

Google is determined not to be a verb

Thursday 26 October 2006 @ 8:19 pm

We mentioned a while back that Google is discouraging their users from using Google as a verb. On the other hand, Yahoo! had no problem with people using Yahoo! as a verb. This issue seems to have risen again and now Google seems more determined with their post.
