Live Goes Live

Wednesday 13 September 2006 @ 8:04 pm

Microsoft Live has gone live and seems to be an amazing service! I like the new design which offers a ton of features on the SERP’s. They seem to have included a couple of drop-down menus as well.

But I think there is something which all of you would find similar about their homepage. It looks a lot like Google to me, a simple layout for the number one search engine.

Importance of Google Base

Sunday 10 September 2006 @ 6:40 pm

Google Base is a decent new service from Google which lets you submit listings which could appear in Google searches in the future.

I recently submitted a ton of game listings from Sixty6 Arcade on my item page and received a bit of traffic. Considering it’s free and it will be shown in Google listings, I still haven’t seen a lot of people sign up.

This is also pretty cool because they let you track the statistics for each listing.
